The coronavirus pandemic has led to the rapid implementation of measures in many areas of the workplace that would otherwise have taken years to implement to this extent. Meetings and business trips were quickly replaced by video conferencing and employees were "sent" to work from home across the board. The response to these measures has been overwhelmingly positive from both employers and employees. So, working from home will remain in focus even after the pandemic. If you work from home, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. Employers are responsible for ensuring the safety of employees working from home. Data protection and data security are also very important. It is therefore worth taking a look at the legal framework.

There is more to consider when working from home than you might think at first glance. This article is intended to provide an initial overview of the various aspects that should be regulated when working from home – ideally in a written home office agreement between employer and employee.
