Tenants can defer their rent payments until June 30, 2020 if this is due to circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic. This will expire in a few days, so it no longer applies to the rent payments often due at the beginning of the month, i.e. the beginning of July.
At the beginning of July, you then have to be careful to pay the "correct" rent. The unpaid rents for the past months do not have to be paid until 2022. If you transfer the rent at the beginning of July 2020 without any further comments, the landlord can book this as a back payment and the rent for July will then remain unpaid. If this happens again in August, unpaid rents for two months can quickly arise, for which no corona protection regulations apply.
