Specialist lawyer in social welfare law
The specialist lawyer for
social law is one of the
oldest German
specialist lawyer designations, which
are already mentioned in § 43c BRAO
.
During
legal training, social law is one of the most
neglected areas of law.
Nevertheless, this
circumstance does not correspond to the actual
significance of social law.
Social law affects almost
all areas of life. It
directly concerns every
citizen.
It offers the specialist lawyer for
social law the opportunity to
help many who
are in urgent need of help.
The main task of
a specialist lawyer in social law is
therefore to advise clients in the
various areas of
social law and to
represent them both out of court and
in court vis-à-vis the
various authorities.
The aim of specialist
representation in social law is
to
obtain the benefits to which the client
is entitled from the authorities.
In doing so, the
specialist lawyer for social law examines the
official decisions, which often
are issued in mass proceedings without
sufficient consideration of the
legitimate concerns of the
person seeking legal redress.
The lawyer's task is to work these out and
implement them in a legally relevant manner.
